An employee survey conducted in 2010 was the starting point for a cultural change at Upstalsboom that changed everything. "We need a different boss than Bodo Janssen" was just one of many critical voices from the workforce; the employees felt they were being mismanaged. The realisation that the "fish started to stink at the head (i.e. me)" was very sobering and painful. - Bodo Janssen
