What we love even more is why we do it. Our social and ecological commitment is a central component of our corporate culture.

Everything that has emerged from us as Upstalsboomer and that is really important to us is at the heart of what we do.

UP Herzensangelegenheiten e.V.

In 2017, 5 Upstalsboomers from Emden founded the Upstalsboom Herzensangelegenheiten e.V. association.

The purpose of the association is to promote charitable causes. According to the articles of association, this includes supporting people in need as well as promoting youth and elderly care, sport, education and upbringing, public health and public health care and environmental protection.

This gives every Upstalsboomer the opportunity to support a cause close to their heart with a specific project. To date, almost 100 projects have been successfully realised.

 

The North does good

Since 2010, the "The North does good" initiative has been an integral part of our corporate culture.

We actively support social, charitable and ecological organisations and projects at all locations along the North Sea and Baltic coasts.

Among other things, all employees are given two days off a year to get involved in these areas during their working hours.

Friesenherz grenzenlos - Moin Moin to Rwanda

... is the motto under which we Upstalsboomers are supporting the African country of Rwanda with the construction of schools.

We want to give the children in Rwanda the basis for a self-determined life through school education.
